Concept and material quality of floor drain

Floor drain is an indispensable drainage accessory for indoor ground drainage. Therefore, having a certain drainage capacity and cleaning capacity is its main function, and preventing foreign matters in the pipeline from entering the room is also one of its main functions. The traditional floor drain currently used has these two functions at different times. With the vigorous development of the construction market, the function of floor drain has developed from single ground drainage to receiving appliance drainage or other functions. The emergence of closed floor drain, direct floor drain, multi-channel floor drain, anti overflow floor drain, side wall floor drain and other products is suitable for meeting some use requirements in buildings.

At present, floor drains on the market have these materials:

1. Cast iron: cheap, easy to rust, unsightly, stick dirt after rust, not easy to clean;

2. PVC: cheap, easily deformed by temperature, poor scratch and impact resistance, unsightly;

3. Zinc alloy: cheap and easy to corrode;

4. Ceramics: cheap, corrosion-resistant, not impact resistant;

5. Cast aluminum: medium price, light weight and rough;

6. Stainless steel: moderate price, beautiful and durable;

7. Copper alloy: moderate price, practical type;

8. Brass: heavy, high-grade, high price, the surface can be electroplated.
